Honor Flight Campaign a Huge Success!

Panthers! Our Honor Flight campaign was a true success. A special shout out to Mr. Holmes for bringing this awesome idea to our school and for making it a reality. We raised a little over $1,800 and we received many contributions from other schools and our community. As many of you may already know, Honor Flight of Kern County honors and sends America's veterans to Washington D.C. to see the memorials built in their honor for their service to our country. And yes, with the help of all of us, teachers, staff, and students we will be sending a veteran to Washington D.C. Let us learn that our education here at Palm Avenue Middle School is grounded not only in Academics but in the Character and Leadership. This is a perfect example of us having Character and Leadership to build community. Congrats Panthers in making this Honor Flight happen!

    Panther 3rd Quarter Academic Challenge!

Palm Avenue Middle School students were able to attend the 3rd Annual Kern County Career Expo on March 5ht at the Mechanics Bank Arena. The focus of the event is to build career awareness for tomorrow’s workforce. Employers from Kern County will have the opportunity to promote the different career opportunities that are available within their companies through an interactive booth.
